Job Description

REMOTE role working EST hours

The Front-End Engineer will design and develop modern, responsive, and high-performing web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences across the clients enterprise systems. This role will focus on building scalable, component-driven user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, integrated with .NET and Azure-based APIs and services. The Front-End Engineer will work closely with UX designers, back-end engineers, and business stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver reliable, maintainable, and visually consistent software solutions.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated developer who enjoys solving complex UI challenges, cares deeply about quality and usability, and thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative agile team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality front-end components using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
  • Implement responsive and accessible UIs optimized for performance across devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs, data, and services into user-facing applications.
  • Ensure consistency in UI design and implementation through reusable component libraries and shared design systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that aligns with established coding standards.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser issues.
  • Maintain version control, build, and deployment processes using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional interfaces.
  • Implement and maintain client-side testing (unit and integration) to ensure code reliability.
  • Stay up to date with modern front-end frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for front-end applications and shared components.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Enterprise Technology objectives.

Skills And Requirements

  • 3–7 years of professional experience in front-end web development.
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front-end tooling.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Next.js and libraries like Redux or React Query.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies such as .NET or Node.js for collaborative full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and best practices for maintainable codebases.
  • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred) and deploying front-end assets through CI/CD pipelines.
