Housing Supervisor – Job Description
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience managing staff accommodation and facilities of a similar size and nature
- Experience working in remote locations is an advantage
- Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage operations efficiently
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of Fire & Life Safety systems
The Housing Supervisor is responsible for managing all staff accommodation, housing facilities, and related services to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-organized living environment for colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Accommodation & Facilities Management
- Enforce accommodation rules and regulations fairly and consistently
- Assign staff to accommodation based on entitlement, nationality, gender, and religion
- Prepare welcome kits for new joiners
- Manage linen issuance and exchange
- Conduct regular room and building inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Maintain updated accommodation lists and emergency evacuation records
- Oversee housing inventory and submit monthly reports to HR
- Coordinate logistics for visiting staff and partners
- Track and follow up on maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain detailed maintenance records
- Ensure all housing areas meet health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Enforce fire safety, emergency procedures, and hazard prevention practices
- Work closely with Human Resources, Maintenance, Purchasing, and other departments on onboarding, transitions, supplies, and accommodation needs
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships across all departments
- Ensure confidentiality of all employee and company information
- Uphold company values and grooming standards
- Participate in trainings and departmental meetings
- Perform additional duties as required for smooth operations
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional climbing, bending, and manual handling
