About the company


Progress Partners Limited is a fast-growing SaaS company building and marketing multiple web-based digital products. While the company operates at significant scale (large contractor teams, high marketing spend, multiple products live), it is now at a pivotal internal growth stage: building its first structured internal team.


The leadership team currently manages most internal operations themselves. As the company scales further, they are looking for a remote senior operator who can bring structure, coordination, and operational discipline, allowing leadership to focus on strategy, product direction, and growth.


This is a rare opportunity to build internal operations from the ground up—with the stability, resources, and scale of an established company.


The role


We are hiring an Operations Manager / Chief of Staff to act as a central coordinating force across hiring, onboarding, internal processes, and cross-functional execution.


This role starts with no direct reports, but strong cross-functional ownership. Over time, it is expected to grow into a broader leadership position with people management responsibility as the internal team scales.


You will work very closely with the Leadership Team, HR/Talent Acquisition, and functional leads to design and implement the company’s internal “operating system.”


What you will do


Core responsibilities

  • Build and structure internal operations from scratch:

Define and document internal processes, workflows, and standards

Create scalable, repeatable foundations before the company grows further


  • Own and coordinate the full hiring lifecycle:

Clarify roles and expectations with leadership

Support recruiting strategy and interview structure

Build onboarding frameworks so new hires integrate smoothly

Work closely with Talent Acquisition and recruiters


  • Establish role clarity & performance structure:

Define KPIs and success criteria for roles with managers

Support performance review rhythms and accountability


  • Act as a Chief-of-Staff–type partner to leadership:

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives

Ensure follow-up, execution, and alignment

Reduce day-to-day operational load on founders


  • Prepare the organization for scale:

Anticipate growing complexity

Adapt processes as the team and responsibilities expand

Potentially hire and manage operations-related roles in the future


Must-have experience

  • Proven experience in Operations, HR Operations, People Operations, or a Chief-of-Staff–type role
  • Experience supporting the scaling of a tech or SaaS startup / growth-stage company
  • Hands-on experience setting up:

Hiring & onboarding processes

Internal workflows and documentation

Cross-functional coordination without direct authority

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end employee lifecycle
  • Excellent written and spoken English


Strongly preferred

  • Experience working with remote or globally distributed teams
  • Familiarity with scaling challenges in SaaS or tech environments
  • Experience defining and using performance KPIs
