Front End Developer (Office-Based - Milton Keynes)


We’re looking for a talented Front End Web Developer to join our growing SaaS team, designing and building user-friendly, high-performance web interfaces used by leading leisure and attractions businesses across the UK and beyond.


This role is office-based in Milton Keynes (hybrid considered) and focuses largely on the customer-facing booking websites used by our clients’ customers to browse availability, buy tickets, and complete bookings. You’ll be designing and building attractive, easy-to-use booking journeys that directly impact conversion, usability, and overall customer experience for leisure and attractions businesses across the UK.


What you’ll be doing

 

  • Designing and building responsive, user-focused web interfaces for a high-traffic SaaS platform
  • Writing clean, maintainable JavaScript and jQuery to deliver rich, interactive user experiences
  • Working closely with backend developers to integrate front end code with PHP-based systems
  • Developing and maintaining templates
  • Collaborating with product, support, and client-facing teams to turn real-world requirements into intuitive UI
  • Taking ownership of front end features from concept through to delivery and refinement


What we’re looking for

 

  • Strong commercial experience as a Front End Developer
  • Excellent JavaScript and jQuery skills (essential)
  • Solid HTML and CSS skills, with experience building responsive layouts
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks
  • A good eye for design, usability, and UX
  • Experience working with templating engines such as Smarty (or similar)
  • Comfortable working alongside PHP developers and understanding server-rendered applications
  • Able to work from our Milton Keynes office

 

Nice to have

 

  • Experience with PHP and working in PHP-based codebases
  • SaaS or high-transaction systems background
  • Experience in booking systems, leisure, or attractions sectors


Salary & benefits

 

  • £30,000 – £40,000, depending on experience
