Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Location: Remote
Day Rate: £280-300/day (INSIDE IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months
Network Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and proactively optimise all network services
- Own & support WAN and LAN technologies
- Support cloud-based solutions, ensuring smooth and efficient integration
- Develop and implement automation scripts and tools
- Collaborate with service delivery team and ensure resolutions for all logged incidents and service requests, adhering to strict SLA's
- Support major incident activities, as well as problem, change, and configuration management processes.
- Adhere strictly to IT processes and procedures, especially regarding Change Control, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Network Engineer - Required Experience
- 5+ years' experience in Network Engineering roles (BAU & Projects)
- Aruba Wireless
- Solarwinds
- F5 Load Balancing
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- Scripting/Automation (Bash etc.)
- Cloud & VMware NSX (nice to have)
