Role Overview

• This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a Finance Systems Manager to strengthen and evolve finance technology within a large infrastructure and services organisation
• Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, you will lead the governance, optimisation, and transformation of enterprise finance platforms that underpin group financial operations, controls, and reporting.
• You'll manage a large team to ensure strong systems governance, and partner with senior finance and technology leaders to support operational efficiency, compliance, and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, optimisation, and transformation of enterprise-wide finance platforms across Australia and New Zealand
• Provide leadership to a multi-location finance systems team, driving performance, capability uplift, and delivery outcomes
• Strengthen finance systems controls, including data integrity, access management, segregation of duties, and audit readiness
• Partner with Group Finance and IT leaders to deliver the digital finance agenda and support operational efficiency
• Oversee finance systems transitions, enhancements, and offshore support models, ensuring business continuity and risk mitigation

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced finance systems leader with a strong governance mindset and the ability to operate confidently in large, complex, asset-intensive environments. You balance operational stability with continuous improvement and stakeholder partnership.

• Proven experience leading enterprise finance systems or finance technology teams
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and regulatory requirements
• Experience managing teams and vendors
• Track record delivering finance systems enhancements or transformations
• Exposure to enterprise finance platforms such as SAP, Concur, Coupa, or similar
