The role
Our client is seeking the expertise and experience of a Project Engineer to work on complex civil works on a project in Canberra / ACT allowing you would specialise in complex civil infrastructure.
This position will challenge you and expects you to add significant value to the works, you will be a leader and lead a term of Engineers.
Not only will you be joining an award-winning contractor but you will also form part of a talented, professional team of individuals. This exciting opportunity would ideally suit an engineer who has had previous exposure to rail, earthworks, and road projects.
The company
This is an opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer who wants to join a Tier two civil contractor on $50m worth of works which over the next year will grow to a Senior Project Engineer role with ample support from recognised leaders in the civil market.
To be considered for this role it is vital that you have the following skills:
- A Bachelor in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Worked on civil projects worth over $10m in value
- Previously worked on structures, earthworks or heavy civil projects
- Strong leadership skills
- High level of organisation
- Be able to work and communicate as part of a team
- Exceptional understanding of OH&S policies
- Ability to think and react quickly to any difficulties which may arise in the workplace
