Responsibilities

• Drive efficient and sustainable development of Belimo's mobile/desktop applications.
• Ensure mobile apps enable seamless commissioning, diagnostics, and connectivity for Belimo devices.
• Establish processes for high-quality, secure, and maintainable software.
• Provide technical leadership within Scrum and supplier teams.
• Consult Product Owner and team on feature implementation.
• Review and contribute to code regularly.
• Manage and prioritise technical debt.
• Define and monitor quality guidelines and processes.
• Review architecture and design proposals.
• Ensure features meet acceptance criteria and system requirements.
• Drive secure software development aligned with cybersecurity standards.
• Coordinate with Integration & Verification for testing.
• Participate in recruiting interviews for external developers.
• Lead and influence a European remote supplier team.

Mandatory Skills

• Mobile app development (iOS & Android), 5+ years, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role.
• Architecture principles for scalable mobile platforms.
• Communication protocols (Bluetooth, NFC, Thread) and secure data exchange.
• Integration with cloud services and REST APIs.
• Automated testing (hardware-in-the-loop, IoT use cases).
• Secure development practices.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• English: business fluent; German: good spoken/written.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Windows platform experience.
• Experience with supplier team leadership across Europe.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence and manage remote teams.
