We’re looking for a Lead Developer who owns the connection between Product and Engineering — not by mediating, but by making clear technical decisions and standing by them. You have a deep understanding of our codebase and architecture, allowing you to set standards, review critical code, and mentor a strong engineering team.

Your people skills enable you to work effectively across departments — even when alignment is uncomfortable. Together with our CTO and Head of Engineering, you take responsibility for bringing next-level software to life, balancing vision, feasibility, and quality.This is not a classic developer role. It’s a lead role with responsibility, influence, and a lot of room to shape things.

• Own the software stack: You take technical ownership of our entire codebase.


• Understand, evolve, and defend the architecture together with your stakeholders.


• Final code reviews: You enforce code standards across all repositories, dive deep into the code, and decide whether something is truly production-ready.


• Hands-on when needed: You don’t have to code all the time — but you can and you will.


• Translate & Align: You understand what frontend and backend are doing, connect the dots, and turn product requirements into clean technical solutions.


• Planning meets reality: Your experience in planning, resource management, and prioritization bring the team forward - and what you know what causes friction.


• Mentoring: You support engineers and act as a role model. Gaining trust by demonstrating your skills and being a true, human leader, sets you apart.


• Technology & Strategy: You think architecture long-term, including AI embedding and maintainability.

• Relevant experience & technical foundation in software engineering (degree or equivalent practical experience).


• Experience as a Tech Lead / Engineering Lead is a must.


• Agile mindset to navigate the Startup Lifestyle.


• People skills are critical: You’re not purely into coding, but someone who leads, mentors, and resolves conflicts.

Tech stack & skills

• Strong background in modern software development, ideally with JavaScript / TypeScript, NestJS, Nuxt, Vue.


• Proven Fullstack experience: The more the better.


• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.


• Proven experience with AI code assistants (e.g. Cursor) and genuine interest in deeply integrating AI into development workflows and architecture.


• Architecture understanding beyond buzzwords: You understand trade-offs, weaknesses, and side effects.
