In this role, you will join the team behind our mobile application and play a key role in evolving our iOS platform, contributing to the next generation of AI-enabled workflows. Working closely with our product creation team, you will help shape the next generation of our iOS app, integrating new hardware devices and AI solutions

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and evolve native iOS features from concept to production, with a strong focus on performance, stability, and user experience.
• Own media-related functionality on iOS, including audio and video recording, playback, and processing, ensuring reliability across devices and usage scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with product management, backend, and QA to translate requirements into well-structured technical solutions in an agile development environment.
• Apply and evolve modern mobile architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture to ensure maintainable and testable codebases.
• Take ownership of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of development standards.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes, supporting reliable delivery and smooth App Store releases.
• Identify performance, stability, or security risks early and proactively propose improvements.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, contributing to architectural decisions and long-term platform evolution.

What you bring

• 3+ years of professional experience developing native iOS applications in Swift, ideally within a product-focused or B2B environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI and asynchronous programming using Combine and modern Swift concurrency.
• Proven experience building media-heavy iOS features using AVFoundation or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of iOS concurrency, threading, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Experience working with modern mobile architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs and collaborating effectively with backend teams.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automated testing, and release workflows for iOS applications.
• Comfortable working with Git and GitFlow in a collaborative, pull-request-driven environment.
• Awareness of secure data handling practices on mobile platforms, including encryption and secure storage.
• Strong analytical thinking, ownership mindset, and the ability to work independently within a cross-functional team.
• Nice to have:
• Experience with advanced audio or video processing, including encoding, streaming, or low-latency media workflows.
• Exposure to AI-enabled or speech-related applications, particularly in media-heavy or real-time contexts.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, legal, enterprise SaaS) with high requirements for reliability and data protection.

• In accordance with the collective agreement for the Electrical- and Electronics Industry, the minimum base salary for this role is € 63218 gross per year. The actual compensation package will be tailored to your experience and qualifications
