For a large and complex digital banking environment, we are looking for an experienced Functional / Business Analyst to reinforce online and mobile squads.

The domain covers a wide range of digital daily banking functionalities, including payments, cards, digital signature, customer onboarding and acquisition journeys, as well as regulatory obligations across digital channels.

In this role, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and IT teams. You will work closely with the Product Owner, other analysts, architects, developers and testers to translate business needs into clear, structured and actionable functional and non-functional specifications.

You will be fully embedded in Agile / Scrum teams and contribute actively to the creation and refinement of the product backlog through user stories and test scenarios.

Your responsibilities

• Lead functional analysis activities in close collaboration with business stakeholders
• Capture, structure and document business needs into clear feature and functional documentation
• Work with Architects and Development teams to detail and validate solution designs
• Design service and interface specifications
• Maintain and continuously improve application and functional documentation
• Contribute to data model definition together with Data Architects
• Write functional requirements and user stories in Jira, and maintain documentation in Confluence
• Build a strong partnership with the Product Owner and other Business / Functional Analysts within the squad
• Support Scrum teams throughout development, testing and delivery phases

Your profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business / Functional Analyst
• Solid experience in digital banking environments, ideally on online and mobile channels
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex topics into structured solutions
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
• Very good knowledge of functional analysis methods, techniques and documentation standards
• Technical background and strong interest in IT and digital technologies
• Experience with UML, BPMN or similar modeling frameworks
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Native Dutch or French, with professional fluency in English

• Daily banking functionalities in transactional digital channels (online and mobile)
• Payments (mobile payments, instant payments, QR code-based payments, etc.)
• Card tokenization solutions (e.g. Apple Pay, Wero or similar)
• KYC lifecycle and digital onboarding processes
• Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
