Business Analyst – Investments & Financial Insurance


Mission context

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Invest & Financial Insurances Tribe. This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of end-to-end investment solutions for Retail and Private Banking clients.

You will contribute to the rollout of new Investment Services and the implementation of Capital Gains Tax, working closely with business and IT stakeholders.


Your role


As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and the Custody Squad
  • Perform impact analyses and translate business, regulatory, legal, and process requirements into clear specifications
  • Refine solutions together with the Product Owner and contribute to business cases
  • Work closely with development teams, ensuring clarity and availability of requirements
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, etc.)
  • Provide regular status reporting to different levels within the Tribe
  • Lead change and launch activities (IT releases, go-to-market, client impact)
  • Gather, analyze, and challenge requirements from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate and lead workshops to align stakeholders and drive decision-making

Language requirements


  • Dutch & French: Strong written and spoken communication skills in one language, with professional proficiency in the other
  • English: Main working language of the team – strong written and spoken skills required


Education & certifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Sciences or equivalent experience
  • Agile certification (Scrum, SAFe, etc.) is a strong asset


Experience & knowledge

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong background in Securities / Custody environments
  • Experience in Retail and Private Banking
  • Proven experience with agile project delivery
  • Ability to translate ideas and concepts into features and functional requirements
  • Experience in securities processing (custody, brokerage, transactions)
