We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to strengthen our business finance capabilities across the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, profit and cost center owners, and senior management to deliver high-quality financial insights that drive strategic decisions.


Your mission?

To support business analysis, reporting, forecasting, and cost-controlling activities, while helping us leverage new technologies to optimize financial processes.


What you’ll do


  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and perform variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Own and continuously improve reporting templates for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage the cost center forecasting process and support cost center owners in building reliable for casts.
  • Consolidate, validate, and interpret cost-related information in collaboration with functional teams.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and enhance financial control systems and analytical tools (e.g., AX, Power BI).
  • Drive system and process improvements to optimize data integrity and reporting efficiency.
  • Develop Teleste’s capabilities in leveraging new technologies in business finance.
  • Identify and analyze financial and operational risks and opportunities.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses as needed.


What we’re looking for


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance.
  • Cost control expertise – Skilled in managing budgets, tracking costs, and analyzing variances.
  • ERP & Project management tools – Proficient in AX and experienced in Power BI reporting.
  • Advanced excel skills – Strong in formulas, pivot tables, and modeling.
  • Attention to detail – High accuracy in financial tracking and reporting.
  • Analytical thinking – Ability to interpret data and solve problems effectively.
  • Effective communication – Clear presentation of financial data to diverse stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder collaboration – Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing
  • decisions.
  • Time management – Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive & results-oriented – Initiative in identifying risks, suggesting improvements, and driving success.


Location: Tampere, with flexible hybrid work options available.
