We are looking for professional, qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of an IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support in our Munich/Planegg office.
The scope of responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
- IT support operations, including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests, assigning priority and responsible persons, resolving requests and users’ notification
- Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g., network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards, copiers, etc.)
- Asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories, licensing, systems decommissioning, etc.)
- Documentation of system problems and resolutions
- Providing basic IT training to PSI staff
- College Degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2+ years of experience in IT
- Full working proficiency in English and German
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus
- Related experience in systems and network administration
- Knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
- Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
- Advanced communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
