📍 Rahmenbedingungen

• Standort: Berlin – Hybrid
• Wochenarbeitszeit: 35 Stunden
• Gehalt: 62.000 € – 70.000 € brutto/Jahr (abhängig von Erfahrung und Interviewverlauf)
• Vertragsart: Unbefristet (Tarifvertrag)
• Arbeitsumfeld: Agiles Team (SAFe & Scrum)
• Mobiles Arbeiten: Nach Einarbeitungsphase und individueller Absprache sind 4 Tage mobiles Arbeiten pro Woche grundsätzlich möglich

🎯 Job Description

Siemens Energy is seeking a talented and motivated UX/UI Designer to join our team and help shape the design of specialized internal tools for our expert user base.

In this role, you will play a critical part in driving value and usability within our agile team by designing intuitive and functional solutions tailored to the needs of highly specialized technical users.

You will work within an agile environment, contributing to the creation of powerful and efficient tools that make the workflows of our engineering experts more effective.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Designer, your focus will be on driving value and usability within our agile team by:

• Design Execution: Translating validated user needs into clean, functional UI designs, which includes implementing, maintaining, and extending our existing design system to ensure consistency.
• Discovery & Validation: Championing a discovery-first mindset by constantly questioning assumptions, asking “why” we are building something, and conducting necessary validation to identify and solve the root problem.
• Agile Collaboration: Working within SAFe and Scrum frameworks to plan, track, and communicate tasks and progress, using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborating closely with developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with technical feasibility and business goals.

🎓 Key Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring the following essential experience and skills:

• Foundational UX/UI: A strong practical understanding of core UX/UI principles, including information architecture, visual hierarchy, consistency, and usability heuristics, to deliver intuitive interfaces.
• Discovery Mindset: A proven ability to focus on the problem space, prioritize user value, and adapt design processes to accommodate the unique needs of engineering workflows.
• Domain Context: Demonstrated familiarity with designing for complex, specialized applications—particularly engineering/design tools, such as CAD/3D applications—and a clear understanding of workflows in these highly technical environments.
• Proficiency in Figma: Skilled in using Figma as the primary design tool for wireframes and UI designs.

• Familiarity with common design patterns in specialized applications.
