Junior Security Analyst (m/f/d)

About The Role

As a member of our expanding IT security team in a dynamic, fast-growing environment, you will play a vital role in enhancing and evolving existing security measures, monitoring our systems, establishing IT security processes, ensuring the safety and integrity of our digital infrastructure, and our values.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of system event logs
  • Investigate security alerts, analysis, and triage of security incidents
  • Identification, analysis, and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Improving and developing policies and procedures, and keeping the documentation up to date
  • Keep track of emerging cyber threats
  • Answering security-related tickets

Essential Skills

  • Degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in IT security
  • Experience with security incident response
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Independent working style and initiative
  • Problem-solving oriented
  • Fluent English, German would be beneficial
  • Availability to mainly work on-site

Beneficial Skills

  • Experience in securing and analysing MS365 services, network, firewall, OS (Win, Linux, MacOS)
  • First experience with IT security frameworks (ISO27001, NIST)
  • Experience with SIEM or EDR systems
