The Intralogistics Data Analyst will support supply chain and intralogistics initiatives at the Alzey Manufacturing Site by leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to enable transparency, optimize operations, and drive data-informed decision-making. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Governance
- Collect, clean, validate, and maintain supply chain and intralogistics data from multiple sources (Excel, ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through robust data governance practices.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards across systems and processes.
- Leverage existing data repositories and analytics frameworks wherever possible to avoid duplication and maximize efficiency.
- Analyze operational data (inventory, transportation, warehouse performance, order fulfillment) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design and implement metrics systems to evaluate supply chain and intralogistics performance
- Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to optimize resource allocation and process automation.
- Build upon existing analytical models and tools to enhance insights and scalability.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs
- Create visual outputs and compelling data stories that enable decision-making for diverse stakeholders.
- Present insights clearly into technical and non-technical audiences, influencing strategic and operational decisions.
- Reuse and improve existing reporting templates and visualization tools where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through data-driven analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, Tech, Operations) to implement innovative solutions.
- Act as a change agent, promoting digitalization, standardization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure new solutions complement and extend current systems and analytics capabilities.
- Generate comprehensive reports that support strategic planning and operational excellence.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on insights from historical and real-time data.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects within supply chain and intralogistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with data management and processing of it through visual tools such as power BI, Tableau, Palantir, etc.
- Pharma experience is a plus.
- Both English and German skills on communicative level are a must, including good presentation/ storytelling skills
- Data Analysis and Reporting tools (Power BI, Fiori, SAC): Use of digital tools to collect, analyze, and visualize data for informed decision-making and performance tracking.
- Process Mapping: Visual representation of workflows to identify inefficiencies, standardize operations, and improve process understanding.
- Project Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring projects to achieve specific goals within defined timelines and resources.
- Document management (veeva, Kneat) and GDP: Systems for creating, storing, and managing controlled documents to ensure compliance and traceability.
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice): Regulatory standards ensuring products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.
- Quality Management systems: knowledge in GMP, ISO and regulatory compliance
- Change Management: Structured approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state.
- Communication Management: Strategically planning, executing, and monitoring communication efforts to ensure consistent messaging, stakeholder engagement, and alignment across projects and teams.
