Data Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing, data-driven organisation operating across multiple global markets. They are investing heavily in digital transformation and building modern BI capabilities, with data at the core of how the business makes decisions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to turn complex operational data into clear, actionable insights. This is a hands-on, business-facing analytics role focused on reporting, performance insight, and real operational impact — not advanced statistical modelling. You’ll work closely with Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams while helping lay the foundations for scalable, self-service BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle: requirements, build, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Europe to define KPIs and reporting priorities.
  • Build and maintain Power BI and Excel dashboards that clearly show business performance.
  • Standardise KPI definitions and reporting logic across teams and markets.
  • Automate recurring reports to improve speed, accuracy, and visibility of trends.
  • Work with IT to source, integrate, validate, and document data from core systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, governance, and compliance standards are met.
  • Analyse operational trends to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable datasets, OLAP models, and BI foundations.

About You:

  • 3–5 years’ experience delivering business reporting and dashboards.
  • Strong Power BI and Excel skills (Power Query, DAX, data modelling, automation).
  • Solid SQL experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, DB2).
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on data quality and consistency.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
  • Experience with OLAP models, KPI frameworks, and data governance practices.
  • Exposure to ERP, financial, or operational system data.
  • Experience in multi-market or international environments.
  • Familiarity with automation or scripting tools (Python, VBA, Power Automate).

Why Join?

Join a growing European business where data genuinely drives decisions. You’ll have the opportunity to shape BI capability, influence how data is used across the organisation, and grow your career in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
