Accounting Officer
Business Unit: Consolidation & Corporate Performance Management (CPM)
Location: Luxembourg (next to the Belgium boarder)

A fast-growing advisory firm specialized in accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, consolidation, and valuation services for listed and unlisted industrial, financial, and investment fund groups — with a focus on Alternative Investments (private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure). The team is composed of experienced professionals recognized for their technical expertise and client-oriented approach.
Role Summary:
The firm is seeking Financial Reporting and Consolidation Consultants with experience supporting groups and investment funds. The role offers professional development, advanced technical training, and strong career growth opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial statements under LUX GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP
- Liaise with clients and auditors; prepare audit files and supporting documentation
- Draft and review complex disclosures and reports
- Conduct research on accounting issues and ensure compliance with evolving standards
2. Consolidation
- Manage consolidation processes for multi-entity, multi-currency groups
- Develop consolidation instructions and group accounting policies
- Book and review consolidation entries, including purchase price allocations
- Prepare consolidated financial statements under LUX GAAP/IFRS
3. Client & Team Relations
- Build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment
Profile:
- Master’s (or Bachelor’s) degree in Accounting/Audit
- 2–4 years’ experience as (Senior) Auditor or (Senior) Accountant
- Proven knowledge of IFRS reporting and consolidation (experience in real estate or financial sectors preferred)
- Strong Consolidation level
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office
- Fluent in English; French, German, or Luxembourgish considered an advantage
- Detail-oriented, client-focused, and team player
