Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring the completion and perform reviews of periodic/annual accounts
- Provide oversight and support of the accounting, audit, tax, legal and SPV/Fund service providers
- Drive compliance processes by coordinating and supporting the preparation of CIT and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Tackle complex challenges by resolving local accounting, reporting, and operational issues with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Take ownership of operational excellence, contributing to key initiatives and managing ad-hoc projects that keep our Luxembourg entities running smoothly
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with third-party service providers and regulators
- A degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance (ACCA or similar accounting qualification are an asset)
- At least 3 years professional work experience (preferably in Luxembourg) is highly desirable. Experience in Big 4 (audit or accounting services), accounting service providers, or alternative investment companies
- Expertise in IFRS / Lux GAAP
- Proficiency in navigating the Luxembourg regulatory environment as it pertains to the alternative assets sector, including AIFMD
- Experience in Fund Administration, including NAV calculation, Transfer Agent and investor servicing
- Familiarity with a variety of alternative asset strategies including LBO, real estate and credit, as well as associated fund structures including limited partnerships (Luxembourg and others), LLCs, SCSPs and similar
- Experience with US GAAP and consolidation is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of Luxembourg tax and reporting
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written). Other European languages are beneficial
