About the Client

We are supporting one of our clients, a leading international financial institution, in expanding its IT development teams within the Corporate & Institutional Banking division. The teams are responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, secure, and scalable software solutions that support core business activities across global markets.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join the technology department based in Lisbon.

The mission is to contribute to the design, development, and continuous evolution of critical applications, ensuring their functional consistency, service continuity, and technical quality.

The Senior Developer will be involved in both project delivery and maintenance activities, applying best practices in software engineering, quality, and security while acting as a technical reference within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test software components in C++, ensuring compliance with internal development and security standards.
• Participate in solution design and modeling to enhance code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during product delivery across different environments.
• Contribute to the continuous development and optimization of existing applications.
• Act as a technical reference, sharing knowledge and mentoring other developers when required.
• Ensure adherence to quality and security guidelines in all development activities.

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development, preferably in C++.
• Experience with additional programming languages is a plus (Python, Java, C#).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities (oral and written) in English.
• Creativity, innovation mindset, and ability to work collaboratively within distributed teams.
