We are inviting applications for a Data Science Intern who has a passion for data analysis and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing significant datasets
• Develop and apply predictive models and machine learning techniques
• Engage with teams to understand business objectives and uncover data analytic possibilities
• Design data visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Prepare and deliver reports to teams and management
• Keep current with advances in data science and machine learning methods

Requirements

• On-site presence in Lisbon office once per week is required
• Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Proficient knowledge of statistical methods and data mining
• Experience with Python or R programming
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational competencies

Nice to have

• Familiarity with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Background in deep learning and neural networks
• Knowledge of SQL and database management
