TransPerfect’s Analytics team performs data visualization for both internal users and external clients. Our analytics technology stack includes Tableau, Streamlit (Python), Snowflake, and Knime.

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading design and development of data visualizations that enable data-based decision making. Under the direction of the visualization team leader, you will work closely with business users, client users, and upper management to understand their reporting needs, develop and implement custom dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users and client users to understand their data reporting requirements and develop custom dashboards and reports
• Work with the analytics engineers to ensure that data is accurate, reliable, and appropriately structured to support Tableau visualizations
• Develop and maintain Tableau and Streamlit reports and dashboards, ensuring that they are easy to use, responsive, aesthetically pleasing and meet stakeholder needs.
• Provide training to end-users on how to use Tableau reports, dashboards, and extensions effectively
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau functionalities and provide guidance on new features and techniques that can enhance our visualizations
• Participate in cross-functional projects and provide Tableau subject-matter expertise

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and developing data visualizations using Tableau
• Experience working with complex datasets and transforming data to support visualization development
• Experience creating and deploying Tableau Server dashboard extensions
• Proven ability to design and develop of complex Tableau dashboards and reports
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles, with experience applying these to real-world business problems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• SQL
