As Product Specialist (Passenger Cars) Slovenia, you will support product sales performance, product launches, and localization activities for our passenger car portfolio in the Slovenia region.
You will work analyzing market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and regulatory developments. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams in Europe and China (such as product, sales, marketing and R&D).
Key Responsibilities
Product Sales Performance
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand the competitive landscape, pricing dynamics, incentive policies, and consumer behavior within the Slovenia passenger car market.
- Provide actionable local market and competitor analysis, including pricing reports and benchmarking, to support effective pricing strategies.
- Prepare segment and product analyses for Denza & BYD models to identify trends and opportunities for enhanced market positioning.
- Interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate pre-launch activities by aligning internal teams (product, marketing, PR, sales, network development) and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of all required assets and approvals.
- Leverage Gantt charts to plan and track launch milestones, manage dependencies, monitor progress, and proactively address risks or delays.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to maintain transparency and ensure a smooth, on-schedule product introduction.
- Monitor market dynamics, policy developments, and industry trends in real time to identify risks and opportunities for localized product positioning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, sales, supply, compliance) to convert input from users, dealers, and authorities into regionalized product adaptations.
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Transition, Automotive Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in product management, engineering, or marketing within the automotive or mobility industry.
- Oral / written fluency in English, Slovenian.
- Strong data collection and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and present critical insights.
- Knowledge of the Slovenia automotive market and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-national, cross-functional environment.
- Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management skills.
- Results-oriented, with a hands-on approach and strong motivation to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes.
- Valid driving license B or equivalent driving license for passenger cars
