What Makes This Role Exciting

As Product Lead, Design (UI/UX) you will lead the design vision, strategy, and execution across CloudPay’s product portfolio, including Payroll, Payments, Integrations, Core and Data & Analytics.

This is a high-impact role that will define how users experience CloudPay. You will lead the design team, collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Product Operations, and shape intuitive, data-driven, and beautifully crafted user experiences across our platform.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and shape the UI/UX strategy across CloudPay’s products, ensuring design consistency, usability, and scalability.
  • Design and lead CloudPay’s next-generation, AI-powered interface for customers, partners, and internal users, making a significant impact on our global product transformation and driving innovation across the platform!
  • Define and evolve our design system in partnership with Engineering and Marketing, creating standardized components, patterns, and best practices.
  • Conduct and oversee user research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Partner with Product Managers to shape product roadmaps and ensure design aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Mentor, lead, and inspire the design team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Champion user-centred design principles and advocate for the user experience across all product areas.
  • Oversee design deliverables (wireframes, prototypes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups) and ensure timely execution within Agile product cycles.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product Operations to support smooth design handoffs and maintain high-quality implementation

Experience Needed For This Role

  • Solid level of experience in Product Design / UX / UI, including experience in leadership or a lead role.
  • Proven track record designing complex B2B SaaS or fintech products (experience in payroll, payments, or enterprise platforms is a strong plus).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user research, interaction design, and visual design excellence.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, prototyping tools, and managing design systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail, user empathy, and an understanding of how design drives business value.
  • Experience working in global, fast-paced environments is a plus.
