About The Role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our HR team and support the day-to-day HR operations of a fast-growing, international scale-up.
This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience who enjoys being close to the business, working hands-on with employees and managers, and wants to grow into a strong People Ops profile while having real impact.
You will work closely with the HR Manager and leadership team, supporting the full employee lifecycle and helping build scalable People processes as Biorce grows.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Support the full employee lifecycle across multiple countries (onboarding, probation follow-ups, contract changes, offboarding).
- Prepare and manage employment documentation (contracts, amendments, NDAs, certificates).
- Ensure employee data is accurate and up to date in HR systems and internal tools.
- Act as a point of contact with payroll providers and external advisors.
- Coordinate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, absences, variable compensation).
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee queries related to payroll and compensation.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and internal procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and internal standards.
- Assist with HR documentation, audits, and reporting.
- Be a trusted first point of contact for employee HR-related questions.
- Support engagement initiatives, internal communications, and People programs.
- Help foster a transparent, people-centric, and collaborative culture.
- Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
- Assist with feedback cycles, development follow-ups, and learning requests.
- Help improve People processes, documentation, and automation over time.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Ops, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience coordinating payroll and working with external providers.
- Familiarity with Spanish labor regulations; exposure to EU / multi-country setups is a plus.
- Comfortable working with HRIS and digital tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with willingness to learn and grow.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (daily working languages).
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, or tech-driven environment.
- Exposure to remote or international teams.
- Interest in People Analytics, process improvement, or automation.
- Curiosity about AI, biotech, or regulated environments.
