Developer Manager (Full-Stack)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic and technically-grounded Developer Manager to lead our development team. This is a pivotal role that balances high-level technical leadership, people management, and hands-on architecture. You will be responsible for scaling our modern application suite while fostering a culture of engineering excellence within a distributed team.

Core Responsibilities -

Strategic Leadership & Management:

• Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team, ensuring professional growth and optimal delivery.
• Technical Excellence: Establish and enforce rigorous coding standards, best practices, and robust architectural patterns.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Interface with Product Owners and Executive stakeholders to translate business objectives into high-impact technical roadmaps.

Full-Stack Engineering & Architecture:

• Architectural Ownership: Drive the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across the stack.
• Backend Innovation: Lead the development of sophisticated services using PHP/Symfony and Nest.js.
• Frontend Sophistication: Oversee the creation of responsive, user-centric interfaces utilizing Next.js and TypeScript.
• API Ecosystem: Design and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs to support complex business logic.

Delivery & Operations:

• Agile Governance: Manage project lifecycles using Scrum/Kanban, ensuring timely delivery and precise resource estimation.
• Operational Stability: Troubleshoot complex system issues and oversee CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker).

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record (1+ years) in a leadership or Team Lead capacity.
• Backend Expertise: Advanced proficiency in PHP/Symfony.
• Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, specifically within the Next.js and Nest.js ecosystems.
• Data Architecture: Strong command of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and advanced ORM usage.
• Systems: Experience with Docker-based workflows and modern DevOps practices.
• Communication: Exceptional English communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Specialized knowledge in VOIP technologies (Asterisk, Kamailio, SIP) is considered a significant advantage.
