Executive Assistant to Country Manager

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Assistant to our Country Manager in Romania, contributing to the smooth operation of his office and supporting effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information in a professional banking environment. It is expected to work with minimal guidance, take action on urgent priorities, and act with a high level of discretion when handling and maintaining highly sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the Country Manager, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars
- Handles correspondence, emails, and phone communications on behalf of the Country Manager
- Prepares basic reports, documents, and presentations as required
- Coordinates meetings and assist with logistics and follow-ups
- Maintains records and files with a high level of confidentiality, managing the information flow in a timely and accurate manner
- Assists with travel arrangements and expense tracking
- Supports day-to-day office operations and assigned tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Country Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, law or a related field
- Previous experience in an assistant role (banking or corporate experience would be a plus)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (min Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Romanian & English
- Professional demeanour under pressure and ability to maintain confidentiality
