We help financial industry clients through services designed to improve efficiency of existing compliance frameworks and while assisting in designing, implementing and transforming financial institution risk management compliance programs to preserve organizational value. We help clients to assess, design and implement governance, processes, models, data and technology, and reporting related to liquidity, capital management market, operational and credit risk management. We help organizations assess, design and implement various valuation models in order to pilot their business, asses their risk and return strategy and meet relevant regulatory and business drivers. Even more, clients may be the subject of a regulatory action or may have identified gaps in their regulatory risk management processes and/or valuation systems. In such cases, we help clients by assessing the causes of failures; deploying data and analytics to analyze the potential results; identifying the appropriate remediation approaches; and implementing remediation programs.

What we look for:

We are looking for a Risk Consultant to join our team in risk management and financial product valuation (1 or 2 years of experience in risk/financial market would be a plus). We provide integrated risk management, valuation and regulatory services to the banking and capital markets, insurance, wealth and asset management, and private equity sectors.

As a member of our team, you’ll work in a highly collaborative environment with risk management experts in all areas, regulatory experts, data science practitioners and advisory professionals using all kind of tools from data manipulation tools to statistical ones, in order to bring the best solutions for our projects.

What will you do:

  • Contribute to engagement team to asses the valuation models and financial results in the area of capital management, market and liquidity risk, trading strategies.
  • Participate as a project team member in Consulting engagements for defining financial products valuation models, assessment of the financial
  • parameters, development of various portfolio modelling techniques and analyze/explain financial results of various portfolios.
  • Follow up the development of the risk regulatory framework in the area of CRR, CRD, BRRD and associated directives and guidelines.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Leverage data and technology to assist senior team members in providing innovative solutions to client’s challenges.
  • Assist in preparing high quality work products for clients and other related parties in timely manner with up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and market trends.
  • Anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.

What we expect from you?

  • University degree in Economics
  • Master's degree and professional certifications like FRM/CFA/CPA will be considered advantageous
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the area of Risk, Treasury, Valuation, Modelling would be a plus
  • Quantitative skills, including proficiency in Python, R, VBA or similar tools - will be a plus
  • Good knowledge of the regulatory framework on financial institutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English is a mandatory, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Have high ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline
  • A desire to learn and develop into the role
  • Ability to work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries
