Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. 
 
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst II to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $34 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid; First months 2 days a week and moving to 4 days a week potentially Feb but not confirmed
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide data management and governance support.
  • Support Data Retention and Disposition (DRD) remediation activities.
  • Ensure data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Perform data analysis and assist in assessing, documenting Data Retention and Disposition requirements, support data retention and disposition analysis, and support development of Data Management and Data Retention and Disposition procedures.
  • Support identification, inventory and cataloguing of existing data assets.
  • Manual execution of Data Disposition and Evidencing.
  • Identify, escalate and support documentation of project and data risks and issues.
  • Build effective working relationships to collaborate with peers and partners on personal deliverables.
  • Manage numerous stakeholder relationships and provide support where required.
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
  • 2-4 Years of Business Analyst Experience working with a Banking or Financial Institution.
  • Governance Experience.
  • Strong Confluence Needed.
  • Project Experience (Timelines standpoint, Risk identification).
  • Data analytics Excel reporting -Some manual steps.
  • Data management (controls, compliance, understanding of data regulatory rules) is a strong asset.
Background screening is required as part of the onboarding process. The type of screening required (criminal, credit or other verifications) will vary based on the position and client requirements.
