About the Opportunity


This is an exciting opportunity to join a member-focused, national professional institute during a pivotal stage of its digital transformation. As the Data & Analytics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in turning data into insight, insight into action, and action into meaningful impact for members and internal teams alike.


Working closely with IT, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll help embed a data-driven culture across the organization. Your work will directly support smarter decision-making, stronger member engagement, and the responsible use of data as a strategic asset within a complex, mission-driven environment.

Your Responsibilities


  • You’ll design and maintain scalable data pipelines, environments, and automated workflows that support analytics and reporting needs.
  • In this role, you’ll develop dashboards, reports, and predictive models that enable data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • You’ll help shape and enhance data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • You’ll partner with business teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • You’ll support data literacy by delivering training, documentation, and guidance to staff across the organization.


Skills and Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience designing data pipelines, data models, and scalable analytics solutions
  • Working knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency with Python, R, or similar analytics or automation tools
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate insights for diverse audiences
