Job Title: Senior Mobile Application Developer (Android & iOS)

Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Job Summary:

• The ideal candidate will have strong Android & IOS development experience, and some familiarity with full stack technologies (MEAN stack and Java).
• Experience with Mass360 or similar mobile security frameworks is required, as you will help resolve security-related issues.
• You will work on building, maintaining, and enhancing mobile applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting backend integration.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced IOS applications.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver new features.
• Contribute to iOS projects as needed.
• Integrate with backend services using MEAN stack and Java.
• Implement and resolve security requirements using Mass360 or similar frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Stay current with mobile, security, and backend technology trends. Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of Android development (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience with Android SDK, UI design, and best practices.
• At least 4 years of iOS development (Swift/Objective-C) and a published app.
• Familiarity with MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• Some experience with Java backend development.
• Experience with Mass360 or other mobile security frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native).
• Exposure to CI/CD and automated testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience
