Position Title: Product Designer

Location: Downtown Toronto – 4 days on site

Duration: 6 month contract

Role-Specific Accountabilities

• Be an owner – Lead end-to-end product design efforts, from UX research and information architecture to interaction design and polished UI.
• You will be a key member of our growing product design team and will play a crucial role in shaping our design culture and processes.
• Become a product expert in private equity workflows, portfolio monitoring, and investment analysis through close collaboration with investment teams and end users.
• Build without prior art – design and implement innovative, intuitive dashboards and financial interfaces where no pre-existing templates exist, setting the UI/UX standard for our internal tools.
• Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work using high quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and prototypes
• Use modern design tools (Figma and others) to create prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals that bring ideas to life.
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to refine and optimize product experiences.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Education, Experience & Capabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
• Experience conducting advanced usability testing and gathers feedback from varied stakeholders to inform product strategy
• Experience developing and implementing design strategies, leads design efforts, and presents to executive-level stakeholders
• Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
