Department Introduction
The R&D SG Department is dedicated to developing Eureka Material, an industry-leading materials R&D agent designed to solve materials-related R&D challenges and enhance R&D efficiency. This goal is achieved through a multidisciplinary team comprising product managers, materials content analysts, algorithm engineers, frontend and backend developers, and data engineers, etc.
About the Role
We are seeking a Content Analyst with a strong background in materials science, physics, chemistry, or chemical engineering. In this role, you will join a team of domain experts and collaborate closely with data and algorithm engineers to design ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge models that support the development of an AI-driven materials science intelligence platform.
This position is ideal for candidates with industry experience who enjoy the intellectual challenge of connecting scientific concepts across disciplines and who value how a deep understanding of materials can drive innovation and sustainable product development.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and algorithm engineers to drive product innovation
- Communicate product features effectively to clients and diverse stakeholders
- Analyze and identify key challenges across various materials science domains, including energy storage, cosmetics, semiconductors, alloys, polymers
- Translate complex scientific concepts into structured, machine-readable datasets
- Contribute to the expansion and enrichment of the materials knowledge base by identifying credible scientific and industry information sources
- Annotate and contextualize information to improve data accuracy, discoverability, and machine readability
- Master’s degree or PhD in materials science, physics, chemistry, chemical engineering or a closely related field
- At least 2 years of work experience in a role demonstrating expertise in one or more fields such as energy storage, cosmetics, semiconductors, alloys, polymers
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
- Experienced in diverse industries, including energy storage, cosmetics, semiconductors, alloys, polymers
- Strong interest in large language models and how large language models (LLMs) & data intelligence are transforming materials research, actively use AI tools in daily work
- Experienced in project management; collaborated with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into product and data features
- Skilled at communicating complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through speaking, writing, and visual presentations
- Experienced in materials research, technical literature review, and the use of scientific databases
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Capable of balancing independent work with effective teamwork
