INVESTMENT MANAGERS | GROWTH-STAGE TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS IN ICT
Our client is a Singapore-based international investment firm with a well-established AUM and a proven track record of investing in high-growth sectors globally. With a strong focus on technology and life sciences, the firm identifies and supports portfolio companies—primarily in North America and other key regions—to expand and scale across Asian markets.
About the Team
The Growth Technology Investment Team focuses on uncovering and investing in emerging technologies with the potential to disrupt the ICT industries and deliver exceptional returns. The team is responsible for the full investment lifecycle—from origination, due diligence, and deal structuring, to post-investment value creation through strategic and operational support. Team members work closely with portfolio companies, advising on strategy implementation, management recruitment, and business development initiatives to drive growth and maximize ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and execute growth-stage technology investments globally.
- Conduct market and technology diligence, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
- Develop investment theses and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Structure transactions and participate in negotiations with founders and co-investors.
- Support portfolio companies in strategic planning, scaling operations, and preparing for subsequent financing or exit events.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in technology development (ICT or related fields), and/or 2–5 years in private equity or growth-stage investing.
- Strong technical foundation with an outstanding Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA or CFA charterholders will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate technical innovation into commercial opportunity.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
