About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unity Developer to contribute to the development of our Unity-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game development, with extensive experience in Unity, and a passion for creating engaging gaming experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on role with significant ownership of features and systems, offering the opportunity to shape the game’s development
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop and ensure design requirements are aligned and project/sprint goals are met.
• Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing code to improve performance and resolve issues
• Participate in design reviews, providing feedback and ideas for new features and improvements
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
• Implementing new client-side features as well as maintaining and improving existing code.
• Identifying and fixing code errors and game bottlenecks.
• Actively participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Unity development and recommend improvements and updates as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in game development with a focus on Unity.
• High proficiency in English – written and spoken
• Worked on at least one game project successfully published on both the App Store and Play Store.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices in C#.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Firebase, and Google Cloud Platform services.
• You love pets – Has/had a dog/cat and/or got involved with animal shelters.

Advantages:

• Experience with Jira and Bitbucket for project management, and collaboration.
• Familiar with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiar with different asynchronous programming patterns in Unity.

Please note:

Salary range: 2,000–2,500 USD

Working days: Sunday–Thursday

Working hours: Aligned with Israel time, 09:30–06:30
