About a role:
We are looking for an experienced Android/Wear OS Software Development Lead to guide the creation of reliable and user-friendly applications for wearable devices. You will lead a development team, focus on practical solutions, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

About a role:
We are looking for an experienced Android/Wear OS Software Development Lead to guide the creation of reliable and user-friendly applications for wearable devices. You will lead a development team, focus on practical solutions, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the architecture, design and development of Android and Wear OS applications.
- Work with project managers and designers to clarify project requirements.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to the development team.
- Review code, ensure adherence to best practices, and resolve issues.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing.
- Manage timelines and ensure project goals are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of professional experience in Android development, including 5 years on the Lead/Architect role, with minimum 2+ years in Wear OS.
- Proven experience leading software development teams.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDKs and Wear OS frameworks.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Familiarity with Agile workflows and CI/CD tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills for team collaboration.
- Experience with UWB and wearable device connectivity.
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and wearable device connectivity.
- Understanding of Material Design and UX principles for wearable interfaces.
- Familiarity with cloud services and backend integrations.
- Open-source contributions or relevant personal projects
