Lead Android Engineer/ Tech lead - Contract
I’m currently working with a client who is building out their Android function and looking to bring in a Lead Android Engineer as a foundational hire.
This has potential to be a long term project, where you’ll take ownership of the Android platform - combining hands-on development with technical leadership. You will be responsible to hire numerous engineers within a short time frame.
🔧 The role
As the Lead Android Engineer, you will:
- Set the technical direction for Android development
- Ensure delivery milestones are met
- Define engineering standards and best practices
- Conduct technical interviews & build the Android team.
- Work closely with product and design teams

💰 Contract details
- Rate: £450 per day
- Engagement: Contract (Outside of IR-35)
