Senior Network Engineer – Melbourne

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a major enterprise environment and lead a large scale Fortinet SD-WAN rollout. This is a full time, permanent role based in Melbourne, offering the chance to work on the latest network technologies in a dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll own the full lifecycle of network platforms design to implementation. You’ll play a key role in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions across a large multi-site environment and have the opportunity to contribute to the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implementation critical network infrastructure including routers, firewalls and switches
• Lead the design and implementation of Fortinet SD-WAN solutions at scale.
• Work across the full Fortinet security suite including NGFW & SASE products
• Collaborate with cross functional IT teams for advanced troubleshooting
• Maintain network documentation and adhere to governance and change management processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong background in Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and SD-WAN deployments.
• Solid Cisco Routing & Switching experience (CCNP or higher preferred).
• Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS).
• Familiarity with cloud networks and cloud security (Azure preferred)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
