About The Role

Intealth is seeking a nearshore Information Security Analyst to support its growing security operations following the launch of the MyIntealth platform. This role is designed to augment a lean internal security team by providing reliable, day-to-day security operations and engineering support, helping the organization scale securely without increasing internal headcount.

The Information Security Analyst will act as a trusted extension of the internal security team, focusing on Tier 1 security operations, endpoint and cloud security support, and incident response activities. This role is ideal for a proactive security professional who can quickly onboard, communicate effectively, and operate independently after initial training.

As a nearshore resource with AspenView, the analyst will provide strong overlap with U.S. business hours, clear and consistent communication, and a lower-risk alternative to traditional offshore support. The engagement is expected to begin as a clearly scoped pilot, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities based on performance, business needs, and budget approval.

This position emphasizes hands-on execution, accountability, and collaboration, enabling Intealth’s security leadership to focus on strategic initiatives while maintaining high operational security standards.

What You Will Do

  • Provide Tier 1 security operations and engineering support for Intealth’s growing security environment following the launch of the MyIntealth platform.
  • Monitor, triage, and respond to alerts from Microsoft Defender and related security tools, escalating issues when needed.
  • Support endpoint security initiatives, including MDM, DLP, and secure configuration baselines.
  • Assist with incident response activities, including investigation, documentation, and remediation support.
  • Perform daily security operations tasks, troubleshooting security-related issues across endpoints, cloud services, and identity platforms.
  • Support risk, compliance, and policy initiatives, including documentation, control validation, and security awareness activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal Information Security and Information Services teams, maintaining clear and proactive communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, incidents, and security improvements.
  • After onboarding, operate with a high level of autonomy, identifying issues and proposing solutions without constant supervision.
  • Participate in a clearly scoped pilot engagement, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities based on performance.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in Information Security, Security Operations, or IT Security support, with hands-on exposure to day-to-day security operations.
  • Experience monitoring and triaging alerts using Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud) and supporting endpoint security initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (Entra ID) environments.
  • Experience supporting MDM solutions (such as Intune or similar) and DLP/data protection controls.
  • Familiarity with incident response fundamentals, common security threats, and endpoint protection concepts.
  • Experience working with ticketing or ITSM tools for incident and problem management.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and SaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ITIL is a plus.
  • Experience supporting Windows endpoints; macOS experience is a plus.
  • Strong ability to document processes, incidents, and security controls clearly and professionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working independently after onboarding in a nearshore, remote environment, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or regulated environments is a plus.
  • Security certifications or relevant coursework (e.g., Security+, ITIL) are a plus but not required.

Nice If You Have

  • Exposure to security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or ITIL.
  • Prior experience supporting healthcare, nonprofit, or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with security awareness, policy, or compliance-related activities.
  • Basic experience with vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or log analysis.
  • Exposure to macOS endpoint management in addition to Windows environments.
  • Entry-level or intermediate security certifications (e.g., Security+, ITIL, SSCP) or equivalent coursework.
  • Interest in growing into broader security engineering or incident response responsibilities over time.
