Head of Data

The Head of Data, reporting to CEO, is responsible for overseeing the collection, management, and strategic utilization of data across the organization. This role involves leading the data engineering, science, analyst, ensuring data accuracy, security, and accessibility, and leveraging data insights to drive business innovation and growth. The Head of Data will work closely with various departments to support their data needs, enhance business intelligence capabilities, and contribute to the overall technological strategy of the company.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in building large-scale data/software systems with high performance, great usability and highly satisfied customers,
• Experience managing a data team and leading the data strategy of the organization,
• Strong experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data,
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings,
• Ability to translate these underpinnings into business implications for the company
• Strong project management skills,
• Comfortable working with different business teams,
• Ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts in an understandable manner,
• Experience in core analytic methods such as predictive modeling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, supply chain optimization, etc.
