We are successfully impacting this transition today by providing energy and utility market players with a modular and scalable management software and relevant business and IT services in a long-term partnership approach. In this context, Haulogy is looking for a Product Manager.

About the department:

You will join the Supplier department, a team dedicated to building scalable, high-quality software that addresses the evolving needs of the energy market for energy suppliers. The focus of this department is to develop and manage a portfolio of advanced software solutions designed to optimize operations, billing, and market interactions for energy suppliers.

Our product portfolio entails three domains:

Portfolio: Manages the full lifecycle of energy contracts, defining commercial offerings and complex pricing models for supply products.

Market & Data: Acts as the central gateway for all energy market interactions and data, managing delivery points, configuration, and market pricing.

Invoicing and Dunning: Handles accurate energy invoice generation, quality control, and the financial settlement process, including payment collection and dunning.

You will pair with the Tech lead of your domain team and report to the Product Manager Lead.

You will evolve within the broader 40-person Product and Engineering team developing our Supplier product suite using agile development.

Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager, you will be an essential member of our product team, working closely with other product managers, the engineering teams, and collaborating with teams such as Customer Support, Sales & Marketing and Energy Experts.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

Defining product vision and strategy: Set the overall vision for your product, considering market trends, customer needs, and business goals

Providing leadership and guidance, acting as a subject matter expert, and advocating for the product’s vision while making critical decisions to resolve conflicts that may arise.

Business understanding: Develop a deep understanding of business flows and user jobs in your domain of focus.

Discovery and user adoption: Lead the continuous discovery process using demos, user interviews, etc., to feed our innovation process.

Support definition of test scenarios to ensure solutions meet expectations and actually solve original user problems.

Create the necessary collaterals for the Customer support team and Product marketing to facilitate adoption.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a product management role, demonstrating successful experience in software development processes and product lifecycle management, functional and technical analysis.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex business processes and translate them into clear requirements.

Proficiency in using product management tools such as (JIRA, ProductBoard, Confluence, Figma, etc.) is preferred.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven relevant technical skills, including agile methodology knowledge (such as SCRUM), data analysis, technical writing, A/B testing, and programming basics.

Fluency in French with professional working proficiency in English.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of the energy market and utilities, including their specific business processes and integration challenges.

Relevant experience building ERP, SaaS solutions in regulated industries.

Adaptability and flexibility: ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Empathy and user-centric mindset: you understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
