Senior Software Engineer .NET (AaaS) | Tallinn, Estonia | Remote


We're working with Riverty Administration Services GmbH on this exciting opportunity. Join a dynamic fintech organization specializing in "Accounting as a Service" for eCommerce and Mobility industries. This role involves enhancing high-performance backend systems and Azure cloud services.


The Role

• Assist with architectural and coding challenges, focusing on migration, refactoring, and modernization of Azure cloud environments.

• Design, build, test, and deploy robust, maintainable, and reliable code and APIs.

• Analyze requirements, challenge assumptions, and architect systems aligned with future business needs.

• Drive best practices and standards, identifying and addressing inefficiencies.

• Actively shape engineering culture by providing feedback and adopting new ideas.

• Participate in agile processes, scrutinizing deadlines and priorities.

• Mentor team members and uphold high standards for quality and architectural thinking.


What You'll Need

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET, including direct contributions to architectural decisions.

• Strategic, outcome-driven experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs.

• Experience with microservices, distributed architectures, and event-driven integration.

• Practical exposure to messaging technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Basic experience in frontend JS frameworks for communication and prototyping.

• Ability to challenge assumptions, prioritize ruthlessly, and defend technical choices.

• Strong written and spoken English.
