Your Responsibilities

We're seeking a sharp and curious Junior BI / Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our marketplace by analyzing data, generating reports, and creating clear visualizations. You'll work closely with various departments (e.g., Marketing) to understand their needs and translate data into actionable insights that drive growth and success.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and data requirements
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources (SQL) into our BI systems
  • Clean and prepare raw data for analaysis, ensuring data quality and consistency
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, or similar
  • Perform data analaysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
  • Assist in the development of data models and frameworks to support analytical initiatives
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of our marketplace
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather data requirements and ensure the delivery of actionable insights
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in marketplace analytics
  • Actively participate in learning and development opportunities to enhance analytical skills and stay current with industry trends

Your profile

Do you have a passion for data and a knack for turning it into actionable insights? Are you excited about the dynamic world of online marketplaces and the power of data to drive business decisions? If so, we want you on our team!

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and querying
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts (Microsoft Fabric, AWS)
  • Basic knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Python or R) is a plus
  • Understanding of basic business concepts and how data analysis contributes to business outcomes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot anomalies in data
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Technical aptitude and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies related to data analysis and visualization
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English (our company language)
  • Bonus points for:
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Basic understanding of marketplace analytics concepts (e.g., user acquisition, conversion rates, seller performance)
  • Experience with a scripting language like Python (a plus)
