Controlling Specialist / Business and Finance Analyst (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly financial and business reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preparation of monthly performance analyses and reports.
  • Conducting in-depth analyses of financial and business data for internal decision-making.
  • Participation in identifying deviations from the plan and developing improvement proposals.
  • Participation in preparing of the annual financial business plan.
  • Coordination of non-current inventory management.
  • Participation in business process optimization projects.
  • Help managing the reporting system (BI).

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a controller.
  • University degree or Masters study in economics/finance or other relevant field.
  • Good understanding of business process principles (preference will be given to candidates coming from manufacturing companies and with experience in preparing reports for parent companies abroad).
  • It is a plus if you hold a knowledge of Slovenian and international accounting standards, current financial and tax legislation.
  • It will be your advantage if you are experienced in planning and reporting, as well as working with large databases.
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, complex information systems, and preferably also business intelligence tools (BI).
  • Excellent analytical skills, logical thinking, systematic approach, precision, reliability, ability to clearly communicate information/conclusions/proposals, solution-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
