Senior Information Security Officer | Hybrid

A well-established organisation within the financial services sector is continuing to strengthen its Information Security capability and is seeking a Senior Information Security professional to join its team.

This role focuses on the human and cultural side of security, playing a key part in how security is understood, adopted, and practiced across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key partner to the Head of Information Security and senior stakeholders to embed secure behaviours across the organisation
• Translate information security and cyber risks into clear, practical guidance for employees and business teams
• Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and awareness initiatives for a wide range of audiences
• Plan, run, and continuously refine simulated phishing exercises, using results to drive targeted education and improvement
• Contribute to the identification and assessment of information security and cyber risks, with particular attention to human factors
• Take ownership of the ongoing development and effectiveness of the security awareness and education programme

What they’re looking for:

• Proven experience in information security, cyber risk, or security awareness–focused roles
• A strong interest in security culture, behavioural risk, and employee enablement
• Hands-on experience with awareness programmes, training initiatives, or phishing campaigns
• The ability to communicate security concepts effectively to non-technical audiences
• Strong German language skills, with the ability to operate confidently in a German-speaking environment.
• Confidence operating in a regulated, complex environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001) are beneficial but not essential
