Position: Internship IT
Direct Manager/Supervisor: IT Manager
Duration: February-July (6 months)
Job Purpose Summary:
We are currently looking for an IT Intern, who can support the IT Department and get acquainted to the dynamics of an IT function in an International Private Bank. Candidates are expected to be a student in Information Technology or a related field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support and assist the overall IT operations and help desk.
- Review and support information related to recurrent reporting and KPI management.
- Assist employees with any IT equipment need or incident.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with all other related departments and units to achieve the Group’s goals/objectives.
- Assist with the implementation of changes to operations procedures, processes and hardware, ensuring the changes are implemented as required.
- Provide help in monitoring all aspects of system security based on bank security policy.
- Handle the ticket system service (Jira)
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant products and support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions.
- Ad hoc IT related projects.
Other:
- Any other ad hoc duties and/or activities related to QNB that management may be requested to the intern from time to time.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Higher degree in the field of Information Technology
Required Special Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
- Proficient user of MS Office Tools such as MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Solution oriented and attention to detail.
- Strong follow-up, planning and time management skills.
*** The successful candidate must be resident in Switzerland.
