As an Data Protection Officer at Utilities One, you will be responsible for ensuring GDPR compliance across all entities of the Group. Position required as part of ongoing GDPR implementation and expansion of security governance across the Group. Role includes cross-border coordination and high level of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Advising management on data-protection obligations
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures across MD, RO, US, India
  • Conducting internal audits and risk assessments
  • Coordinating DPIA processes for high-risk data activities
  • Managing data breaches and reporting obligations
  • Handling data subject requests (DSR) and maintaining all mandatory registers
  • Providing regular employee training and awareness
  • Acting as primary contact for supervisory authorities
  • Overseeing data-protection aspects of vendors and international data transfers
  • Working closely with Corporate Security and IT on technical and organizational measures

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • University degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Compliance or related field
  • GDPR certification preferred (DPO, CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years in compliance, legal, audit, security or data-protection functions
  • Experience implementing and monitoring GDPR compliance
  • Experience working with multi-entity or multinational organizations is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and international data protection frameworks
  • Understanding of data processing workflows, retention, DPIA, DSR management
  • Ability to collaborate with IT/Security departments (MFA, AD Global, access control, monitoring, incident management)
  • Excellent communication, documentation and reporting skills
  • High integrity, confidentiality and independence in decision-making
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday from 15:00 till 23:00
