The Position
We as the “Data Strategy and Analytics (DSA)” circle are looking for an intern in Data Sciences as of February or March 2026 for a 6-12 months period. We are a full-stack development team, part of the so-called ‘Digital & Data Solutions’ cluster: We design and operate sustainable solutions in our partners' value chains and make a decisive contribution to the success of our research, development, and production location in Basel and Kaiseraugst. In our team, we are passionate about data and analytics and aspire to be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making. We specialize in designing and developing analytics products that operate in different core business organizations. We master the span from creating intuitive dashboards and reports to developing complex machine-learning models. We are committed to turning data into actionable insights that drive our business forward!
The Opportunity
- Collaborate with experienced data professionals to design, develop, implement, and operate analytics products
- Master the handshake in between UX research, business analysis, architecture, development and front-end creation
- Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and technologies
- Contribute to the team’s efforts in making data-driven decision making a reality

- Current Bachelor- or Master students or recent graduates (within 12 months) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Engineering or related field with first-hand (Python, SQL) programming and version control experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a large, both local and global organization
- English is a must; candidates with additional German language proficiency will be preferred
- Due to regulations non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents
