YOUR ROLE
In your daily job you will:
- Facilitating that the team is fully functional and productive to get the most of out self organization
- Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions and removes barriers
- Support organization transformation, processes optimization, ensures that the Agile/Scrum is understood and enacted;
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
- Facilitating discussion and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Supporting the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
- Shields the team from external interference
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- Bachelor or Master of Science
- Very good communication skills in English in written and spoken form
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Teamwork skills
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory
- Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner
- Experience with JIRA Software or other agile planning tools
